Down with technology! - Pt. 2

What the hell was Apple thinking releasing their damn version of Itunes! I've been trying to connect my Ipod to my computer all day and each time Itunes freezes as it tries to recognize the freakin' ipod and I have to restart my damn computer. My poor baby has been restarted so many damn times today. I went on Apple's website to see if there are any solutions that have been posted by Apple Support. How convenient that the one they posted doesn't work for all users! I even went on some of the forums on Apple's site and found that I wasn't the only one having the same problem with the Itunes update. I think I'll just inundate Apple's feedback messages until they send out a correction for the damn problem. Mofos!

Gerlie,

Make sure your iPod software is up to date. It could be your ipod software is incompatible with the new itunes.

http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/If you have iTunes up when you connect the iPod, try closing it first, then connecting your iPod, then launching iTunes.

Remember, technology is your friend...and it keeps your friends like me working!

Thanks. I posted my complaints on the Apple.com forums. I finally just took it to the Apple store near my house to have them fix it since I've paid to extend the life of the warranty and service. I ended up having to restore my ipod to its factory state and reloading my songs. Since most of the people on the forums who were having the same problems had the 4.7.1 version of itunes, I reloaded v.4 and refuse to update until the version is at 8. I think there was some connection with that version and the most recent ipod software. Even if you think there isn't, I don't care. I refuse to update to the most recent itunes version and have the same damn problem happen again. Thanks for the help, though. :-)
